| Summary: | The Telecommunications Industry is developing rapidly due to technical progress in general and the integration of computers and telecommunications in particular. The changes are affecting all aspects of society - business, public services and our private lives. As a result, the European Community has urged the Member States to adopt a common regulatory approach to the changing situation. This volume reports on the ensuing debate over the legal and economic consequences for Europe - a debate that is also valid for many other countries. It deals with the major aspects of telecommunications today.
