This book, which includes reproductions of artworks created, and views of various installations presented, by the artist between 2009 and 2013, was issued in conjunction with the exhibition "Stefan Strumbel: what the fuck is heimat" held at the Circle Culture Gallery Berlin, September 6-November 1, 2014.
Includes two essays, "What the fuck is heimat" by Florian Waldvogel and "Home sweat heimat: thoughts on the work of Stefan Strumbel in five fragments and ten footnotes" by Raimar Stange, each of which begins on a cover of the book. Stange's essay, which begins on the back cover, is printed tête-bêche in relation to the rest of the book.
