Summary:Six parents struggle to learn the basics of computing. In caring for young children many parents can easily neglect their own education, or miss out on career progression, and the Laptop Library course, run by the Lambeth Family Learning Centre, aims to help them engage in their child's learning, or take the first steps in furthering their career. By introducing Word, Publisher, and photo-editing software in a friendly family atmosphere, the course gives parents valuable time with their children, whilst enabling them to improve their job opportunities.
