This indenture made the [blank] day of [blank] in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and [blank] between John Miller of the borough of Lancaster in the county of Lancaster and province of Pennsylvania black-smith and Elizabeth his wife of the one part and [blank] of the other part ... Now this indenture witnesseth that the said John Miller and Elizabeth his wife for and in consideration of the payment of the rents and performance of the covenants and agreements herein after mentioned and reserved which on the part and behalf of the said [blank] his heirs and assigns are or ought to be observed performed and kept and of the sum of [blank] to [blank] in hand paid (the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged) they the said John Miller and Elizabeth his wife have granted, bargained, enfeoff'd released and confirmed ... unto the said [blank] his heirs and assigns [blank] ... / :

And at the same time came Elizabeth the wife of the said John Miller, who on examination apart from her husband acknowledged, that she voluntarily became a party thereto, she being of full age & the contents thereof having been first made known to her.
