Summary:The book is the result of an investigation of four years by art historians Sylvia Ready and Bárbara Becker and aims to serve as a bridge between artists, their works and the public, through tools that allow to understand the visual manifestations of Latin American contemporary art. The authors analyze the works of 21 Latin American contemporary artists, including as Doris Salcedo, Alfredo Jaar, Ernesto Neto, Gabriel Orozco, and Sara Malinarich, among others. Each chapter contains a presentation by the artist, a selection of some of their works and questions, among other content.
