Summary:Art curator Hans Ulrich Obrist, from his own experiences and inspirations - from the organization of his first exhibition in a small kitchen in Zurich at the age of 23, to the meetings and conversations with artists, curators and thinkers dedicated - seeks with the book "Caminhos da Curadoria" (Ways of Curating) to inspire all those engaged in the production of culture. Covering since the creation of the first public museum in the late 18th century to the encounters with artists who have most inspired him, the book traverses the iconic moments in the history of curating. Through centuries, exhibitions (by Obrist and others) and continents, the author states that the curator is far from being a static and practice that, driven by curiosity, it allows us, at its best, create the future. Author Hans Ulrich Obrist is considered one of the most influential contemporary curators in the world. Co-Director of the Serpentine Galleries since 2006, he has served for twenty years as independent curator and curator of the Museum of Modern Art in Paris. His prolific career includes more than 150 international exhibitions, including Utopia Station held within the framework of the 50th Biennale of Venice (2003)
