Summary:	This substantial volume reports on the results of exavations (1989-1994) of a Neolithic settlement in the Heinsberg region of the Rheinland. The first book in a new series, it focuses on the archaeological evidence itself by means of four specialist reports. These discuss: the ceramics and structural remains; the burnt stone; the flint tools; the significance of the settlement and its chronology. The book is illustrated throughout.
