Summary: | This exhibition catalogue presents the cohabitation and collaboration of Suzanne Valadon (1865-1938), Maurice Utrillo (1883-1955) and André Utter (1886-1946) in the studio at number 12 rue Cortot, currently the location of the Musée de Montmartre. Valadon spent the happiest and most creative years of her life sharing this studio with her son, Maurice Utrillo, and her husband, André Utter, until their separation in 1926. This exhibition displays paintings and photographs that piece together the creativity and intimacy shared by these three artists in the years the spent here together. |
