|a Stephan Hubers großformatige Landkarten verweben objektives Ausgangsmaterial mit subjektiven Empfindungen voller poetischer, politischer, historischer und philosophischer Anspielungen. Kartografie wird bei Huber zum Kosmos einer Person und zugleich zu einer großen Erzählung über die letzten 50 Jahre. Fiktion und Realität verschwimmen zu einem sowohl kritisch verstörenden wie auch überbordend ironischen Weltbild, das mit großer Lust in eine künstlerische Form gebracht wird. Die zahlreichen Klapptafeln ermöglichen erstmalig ein genaues Studieren der groß formatigen Arbeiten. Hubers Werk wurde neben großen Museumsausstellungen auch bereits auf der documenta und der Biennale in Venedig gezeigt. Exhibition: Eres-Stiftung, Munich, Germany (16.1-28.3.2015).
