| Summary: | This documentary shows through the use of films, radio reports, interviews, etc. the testing by the United States of two atomic bombs in July, 1946 on the Bikini Atoll--code named "Operation Crossroads". Thousands of sailors ware exposed to heavy doses of radiation and the entire population of Bikini was uprooted. Features interviews with Kilon Bauno, Chief of the Bikinians, and John Smitherman, veteran of the nuclear weapons tests at Bikini Atoll in 1946.
