The practical sea-gunner's companion: or, An introduction to the art of gunnery : Containing, decimal arithmetic, practical geometry, trigonometry, with its application to the measuring of heights and distances: the duty of a gunner, &c. The true allowance of powder for proof, service, salutes, and scaling of all ordnance now in use. The nature, length and weight of iron ordnance: of the specific gravity of lead, brass, iron, &c. with its use in finding the weight of different kinds of metals.
