Summary:This book is based on the recollections of Hugie and Oleta Oesterreicher, who lived in rural northeast Florida in the early decades of the twentieth century. Northeast Florida was frontier country then, and Hugie and Oleta were pioneers. This is a personalized account of what it was like to live and work and raise a family in the backwoods of northeast Florida during the last 100 years.
