This book is best suited for researchers or others interested in a detailed report regarding the topic of underage drinking and the proposed strategy by Congress to reduce this problem in the United States. The report is quite lengthy and full of details. It is not a book for those who are unfamiliar with statistics and research or for those seeking an overview of this topic. The first part comprehensively reviews underage drinking in the US, supported by an overwhelming quantity of statistics and research. The second part discusses a multitude of preventive strategies. Not an easy read, this book is nevertheless quite informative, offering an immense amount of detail on an important problem. ^BSumming Up: Recommended. Graduate students and above. S. F.
