Summary:Economics professor and economist William Donald Bradford was born on June 19, 1944, in Gadsden, Alabama. Bradford attended Howard University in 1963, and graduated with his B.A. degree in economics in 1967. Bradford attended Ohio State University and graduated with his M.B.A degree in 1968, and his Ph.D. degree in finance in 1971. Bradford was hired as an associate professor of finance at Stanford University's School of Business, where he worked from 1972 to 1980. He was the visiting professor of finance and economics at Yale University's School of Organization and Management in 1983. From 1989 to 1990, Bradford served as a visiting professor of finance for both the University of California, Los Angeles and Ohio State University. From 1994 to 1999, Bradford was the dean and professor at the University of Washington's School of Business Administration. Bradford then worked as a professor of business and economic development at Washington University.
