Summary:Opera singer and human resources executive Andrea Bradford was born in Huntsville, Alabama. She attended Oakwood College in Huntsville before receiving her degree in vocal performance from Oberlin College Conservatory of Music in Oberlin, Ohio, in 1970. Bradford also received her D.M.A. degree from Boston University College of Fine Arts in Boston, Massachusetts. A soprano, Bradford joined the Opera Company of Boston in 1975, and toured with the company throughout New England and Europe. In addition to the Opera Company of Boston, Bradford performed with Boston Lyric Opera, Boston Symphony Orchestra and Boston Pops in productions of The Balcony, The Barber of Seville, Madame Butterfly and Leroy Jenkins' The Negro Burial Ground and Three Willies. Bradford has worked in numerous executive and directorial positions, including for Boston's Berklee College of Music and Amnesty International USA. In 2012, Bradford became director of human resources for Ms. Foundation for Women.
