Summary:	Publicist Gwendolyn Quinn was born on November 12, 1960 in Augusta, Georgia. A personal assistant to recording artist, Gloria Gaynor, she received her cosmetology license from Robert Fiance Beauty School in West New York, New Jersey. She completed a Vidal Sassoon apprenticeship. Quinn served on the television and radio staff at ASCAP. She worked for model-businesswomen Beverly Johnson. She joined ABC-Capital Cities television development and production group. In 1991, Quinn served as publicity coordinator, Mercury/Polygram. She joined Flavor Unit Entertainment as National Director of Publicity. In 1995, she was named National Director of Publicity & Media Relations, Capitol Records. She served as Senior Director of Publicity, Island Records. In 1997, Quinn moved to Arista Records, as Senior Director of Publicity. In 2000, Quinn served as Capitol Records, Vice President of Publicity. Quinn founded GQ (now Gwendolyn Quinn) Media & Public Relations in 2002. She represented legends like Aretha Franklin and Chaka Khan.
