|a Association executive Antoinette Malveaux was born on March 19, 1958 in San Francisco, the youngest of five children. Earning her B.A. degree in economics from the University of San Francisco in 1981, Malveaux went on to earn an MBA degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. After earning her business degree in 1985, she was hired as the director of global marketing for American Express. In 1991, Malveaux became executive director of the National Black MBA Association and later took over as its president and CEO. Under her guidance, the organization tripled in size and developed into a multinational organization. Malveaux was active in many organizations and was honored by the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition. She was listed in Who's Who in American Business. Malveaux left the National Black MBA Association in 2003 to pursue other interests. She served on the board of trustees for Girl Scouts USA, Chicago Chapter.
