Summary:Lawyer and corporate executive Teri McClure was born on December 31, 1963 in Kansas City, Kansas. She received her B.A. degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri and her J.D. degree from Emory University School of Law. McClure practiced employment and labor law before going to work for United Parcel Service in 1995 in their corporate legal department. McClure became vice president of operations for UPS in 1999 and manager of its Central Florida District in 2003. In 2006, McClure became the first African American senior vice president at UPS. She served on the boards of several charitable foundations, including the UPS Foundation and the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights. McClure also was co-chair of the Georgia Supreme Courts' Committee on Civil Justice. In 2008, McClure was awarded Emory Law's Distinguished Alumni Award and in 2009, she received the Good Apple Award from the Georgia Appleseed Center for Law and Justice.
