Summary:Investment banker and securities broker Eric Devon Carmichael was born on May 6, 1964, in Columbus, Ohio. Carmichael earned his B.S. degree in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1985. He joined the investment firm Pryor, McClendon, Counts, & Co., where he worked for fifteen years and became a senior vice president. In 1995, Carmichael co-founded New Millennium , a strategic marketing company, and also served as a principal for the Greentree Brokerage Firm. In 2004, Carmichael co-founded Gideon Development Partners, LLC. The group acquired the Gateway Building in the landmark King Lincoln District in Columbus, Ohio. In 2006, Carmichael was hired as senior vice president for Pacific American Securities. Carmichael had clients in the U. S., Africa and West Africa. He was treasurer and trustee of the Greater Columbus Arts Council. Carmichael passed away on August 5, 2012 at age 48.
