"Doppelte Abbild". Im Mittelpunkt von Prof. Werner Schnells Beitrag steht die Beziehung von Fotografie und Skulptur. Franziska Hell stellt das Verhältnis von Ernst Barlach zur Fotografie und seinen Fotografen vor. Ein umfangreicher Bildteil präsentiert Auszüge aus dem reichen fotografischen Nachlass Ernst Barlachs. Arbeiten namhafter Fotografen wie Alfred Ehrhardt, Albert Renger-Patzsch oder Hildegard Heise werden im direkten Vergleich zu historischen Aufnahmen zeitgenössischer Güstrower Fotografen wie Berthold Kegebein oder Carl Bühring gezeigt, um so die Vielfalt an Rezeptionsvarianten von Barlachs Kunst aufzuzeigen. Erstmalig wurden alle bekannten Fotografien des Künstlers selbst in einer Publikation zusammengeführt und geben einen bisher noch nicht dagewesen Einblick in das Privatleben Ernst Barlachs und in sein soziales Umfeld. | |
