Cuando le dije lo mismo a mi abuela Herminia, se alegró mucho y me dijo "Sí, claro, nena.", así que, grabadora en mano, me fui a ver a mi abuela Maruja para que me explicara, por ejemplo, lo que escondía ese cuadro de flores y el porqué de su obsesión por la cocina. Después visité a mi abuela Herminia y descubrí la importancia de su abuela Hermenegilda y las causas de ese aire bohemio tan peculiar. Las mujeres de su generación, a quienes no solemos cuidar como ellas nos cuidaron, siempre han sido personajes secundarios de otras vidas: la esposa de, la madre de, o la abuela de.
