Code Red examines 15 recent deaths in depth, scrutinizing the reports of government investigations known as Detainee Death Reviews of deaths in immigration detention that occurred between December 2015 and April 2017. At least two independent physicians with expertise in correctional health ... agreed that substandard medical care contributed or led to eight of the 15 deaths. ... Congress should immediately act to curtail the abuses.
