Summary: | "On Sunday April 25th, 1965, a large number of culturally oriented members of Czech and Slovak community of Metropolitan Chicago gathered at the Center for Continuing Education to hear a report on the progress of the Czech and Slovak Studies, [w]hich were initiated three years ago by the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures. The Council of Higher Education has made this program possible by providing the basic grant for a period of the first three years ... . The report presented by Dr. Hugh McLean and Dr. Milada Součková was informative as well as interpretative.
