| Summary: | This year is the 130th anniversary of the birth of artist Ossip Zadkine, a prolific sculptor. To celebrate the occasion and pay tribute to this great artist, the Musée Zadkine is devoting a special exhibition to him in which the emphasis is on the different medium in which the artist worked, such as wood, gouache, ink and stone. Zadkine worked each medium in an instinctive way to create rich and varied artworks. The sculptures exhibited illustrate his art and his innate relationship to working different mediums. |
