Summary: | A unique exhibition in which about 40 works created at different stages recreate the creative process of Uruguayan artist José Gurvich (Lithuania, 1927- New York, 1974). The artist used to work on many artistic projects simultaneously, from which he produced a very vast number of works of art in different materials: oil on cardboard or canvas, inks/pencils/watercolors/temperas on paper, collages, murals, ceramic sculptures and utilitarian ceramics. This exhibition includes sketches where the artist had barely prepared the paper to start a work and other works where he has already taken the creative process to its last stages. |
