Summary:	O cinema em pauta : olhares sobre a sétima arte is a compilation of texts divided into two distinct parts: the first concerns the intersemiotic relations established between literature and cinema, in which it is intended to discuss analytically how both artistic expressions intertwine and enrich each other. The second part of the book deals with the importance of Brazilian cinema, the process of film production in partnership with other countries and how the relationship between our cinema and the economy is effected. From the analysis of films based on literary texts and the discussion of other works of national and international cinematography not coming from literature, besides the reflection on the importance of certain consecrated directors, we can see in this book the author's rapt look at the theme, understanding his recognized knowledge about the subjects dealt with here, in valuable contribution to the area and from a unique sensitivity.
