|a Morto a soli 39 anni, il pittore e incisore di Brema Fritz Overbeck (1869-1909) ha fatto parte per alcuni anni della comunità degli artisti di Worpswede, nata alla fine dell'Ottocento: questo movimento si esprimeva contro progresso e industrializzazione. Tra i più grandi estimatori di Overbeck ci fu anche Rainer Maria Rilke. Realizzato in collaborazione con il Museo Castello San Materno di Ascona e la Fondazione per la cultura Kurt e Barbara Alten, questo è il primo catalogo sull'opera di Overbeck in italiano. Il catalogo è curato dagli studiosi Ilse Ruch e Harald Fiebig ed è interamente illustrato a colori: dipinti, acquarelli e incisioni dimostrano che il paesaggio era per l'artista un soggetto privilegiato.
