Summary:Obra gris (Gray work) is a concept from the vocabulary of the Mexican construction workers (albañiles) and refers to the unfinished state of a construction present in much of the national and Latin American urban and social landscape, a structuring idea through which we have developed one of the main production lines to shape the body of work of the collective Tercerunquinto. "Obra gris. Sobre la forma y el color consisted of carrying out the collection of second-hand concrete blocks in different areas of the city of Monterrey, to later classify and order them by color, and build a set of three sculptures that appealed to the typical shapes and colors of the geometric abstraction of the twentieth century. The exhibition was also made up of a series of graphic and pictorial works, the result of the study work that the collective carries out in parallel to its explorations and interventions in public space."
