Summary:"Short pieces with pictures, piece entitled "Black boy" contains an allusion to a black girl poet (i.e., Phillis Wheatley?). According to extant Baltimore directories, Fielding Lucas published as an individual at 138 Market St. (apparently also called Baltimore St.) between 1811 or 1812 and 1843 or 1844. Illustrations and typography suggest a publication date of ca. 1821-1830. In printed wrapper. Metal-engraved plates. "Juvenile books published by F. Lucas, Jr."--advertisement, p. [4] of wrapper."
