The lengthy manuscript notes on the verso of the certificate record the passing of the certificate's bearer on the 12th April 1705, with the cost of the funeral duly borne by the confraternity. In the lower left verso are a series of scrawls in a very poor hand, evidently that of Juan Joseph himself, recording his payment of confraternity dues for the years 1702, 1703, 1704, and 1705. Manuscript foliation in upper right corner, implying that this was once part of a larger bound volume: 27.
