Notes: | Presbytery of Saint Louis; also known as Saint Louis or St. Louis Presbytery; erected by Presbyterian Church in the U.S.A. in Missouri in 1832; split into Old and New School factions during the schism, 1839-1870; reunited 1870; in 1870, a group opposed to the reunion broke away from the Presbytery and formed a Presbytery of Saint Louis under the independent Synod of Missouri (Old School : 1866-1874) until 1874 when it joined the Presbyterian Church in the U.S.; the Presbytery of Saint Louis under the Presbyterian Church in the U.S.A. continued until 1958 when the parent body changed to United Presbyterian Church in the U.S.A.; dissolved in 1969. committed to retain from JKM Seminaries Library 2023 JKM University of Chicago Library Description based on: 1909 issue.
