Summary:The figure of the architect Salvador Ortega Flores, who died at an early age, has been unfairly forgotten. This is an effort to rescue part of his life and professional career to begin to fill this gap in the history of 20th-century Mexican architecture. Ortega Flores contributed his project skills and his artistic sensibility by being part of the team that introduced multi-family housing in our country, collaborated in the architecture of the Rectory Tower of the Ciudad Universitaria campus, participated in the development of the figure of condominium property in Mexico and is the author of works of metropolitan importance such as the Insurgentes roundabout and station of the Mexico City Metro.
