Summary:Through close, ongoing study of 22 families from all over Britain and their children born in the year 2000, the BBC science department is conducting and filming a unique experiment into how children develop and what makes who we are as adults. The children are now three years old and entering a fascinating new phase in their development. The 2004 series explores a variety of issues relating to the children's development, such as shyness and confidence; dishonesty and punishment; and language.
