Description
Summary:Since its establishment in 1987, the ERASMUS scheme has enabled students from across Europe to experience life and study in another European country. Such a temporary study period abroad might be expected not only to affect methods of study in higher education, but also to have a considerable effect on the lives of participants far beyond their time spent in education. This study of 1339 former ERASMUS students follows their education, transition to employment and early career development during the 30 months after completing the study period abroad. It is published to follow on from an earlier survey of the experiences of the same group of students during their time abroad.
