Description
Summary:Norwegian Gypsies, or Rom, speak a New-Indic language called Romanes. This collection of oral texts in Romanes presents sixteen stories in orthographic transcription. Shedding light on the Romanes language, as well as the culture and gradually disappearing oral tradition of the Rom, the texts are presented with English translations, along with a valuable introduction and list of Romanes words.
