Vols. 1-2, dated, 1793, are the original edition of a work complete "in two volumes"; vol. 3 is a new edition of the author's "Historical survey of the French colony in the island of St. Domingo", which appeared originally as a separate work, but in 1801 was issued as v. 3 of The history ... of the British West Indies ... in three volumes.
