Notes: | De vini natura (p. [3-8], 1-400, with special preface dated 1 March 1565) was also published in Basel in 1565. The added opuscula (p. 401-912, with special half-title (Opuscula ... Omnia ab authore denuò corr., aucta satis, ac tertiò & ultimò aedita) and special preface dated 13 November 1564) are seven: De memoria reparanda; De praedictione morum naturarumque hominum; De temporum omnimoda mutatione ... prognostica; De tuenda sanitate in universum; De literatorum conservanda valetudine; De peste; Theses de peste. All had appeared separately except De tuenda sanitate in universum. Two collections had appeared previously, one in Basel in 1554 (containing items 1-3 of the present volume) and one in Lyons in 1558 (containing all the present collection except De tuenda sanitate in universum and Theses de peste) Includes index. |
