This revised and expanded version of The Big English-Russian Russian-English Business Dictionary (Moscow, 1993) fills a gap. Similar titles focus on banking and finance or foreign trade, and other works that have similar content are all either too brief or too old to be serviceable. This one strives to be comprehensive both in number of different words and number of uses; for example, there are 56 definitions of phrases containing "account," and 45 for "cost." The book includes import/export terms like "c.i.f." and "free alongside ship." Terms from other languages ("cum" from Latin, "coulisse" from French, "nostro account" from Italian) give the work a truly international feel, and a wide range of English business terms, from "crawling peg" to "nude contract," make it a very useful reference. An outline of the Russian alphabet would have been a helpful feature. Brief lists of abbreviations in both languages are found at the back. Given its currency, coverage, and reasonable price, highly recommended for public and academic libraries. L. K. Miller; Paradise Valley Community College
