Summary:Yiftah'el Salvage and Rescue Excavation at a Prehistoric Village in Lower Galilee Aby E Braun et al. A complete excavation report of a late prehistoric site in Galilee. Several periods are represented in four major strata. They include Pre-Pottery C, Neolithic Pottery, Early Bronze I and Middle Bronze I. The report includes chapters on stratigraphy, architecture, pottery, groundstone and chipped stone industries, osteological finds (animal and human), metallurgy and miscellaneous finds, discussions devoted to the surroundings of the site and the cultural milieu of the several periods. This is one of the few major reports on sites of these periods in the North of Israel to date.
