Hearing before a subcommittee of the Committee on Interstate and Foreign Commerce, United States Senate, Eighty-third Congress, second session, on H.R. 3792, a bill to amend part III of the Interstate commerce act so as to authorize the Interstate Commerce Commission to revoke, amend, or suspend water carrier certificates and permits under certain conditions, and S. 3185, a bill to amend the Interstate commerce act in order to make the compliance with certain state filing requirements unnecessary with respect to mortgages, leases, equipment trust agreements, conditional sale agreements, and other instruments evidencing the mortgage, lease, conditional sale, or bailment of motor vehicles sold to or owned by certain carriers subject to such act.
