Original appearance: Of the four stories contained in this vol., "Typhoon" 1st appeared in the "Pall Mall Magazine" from Jan. through Mar. 1902, and in book form in the U.S. (New York and London: G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1902). "Amy Foster" was 1st printed in "The Illus. London News" for 14, 21, and 28, 1901. "To-morrow" 1st appeared in the "Pall Mall Magazine" for August 1902.
