Summary: | The purpose of this study is to show why progress in formulating national urbanization policies requires coordination between three specific areas of policy formation while uncoordinated policies appear to undermine each order. The three specific areas with which the author deals are the correction of unintended and unwanted spacial effects on national economic policies; the more efficient internal managment of cities; and decentralization policies. |
