Description
Summary:

The book explores the mechanism of public responses, especially the role of Polish propaganda. From the battlefields of Poland, Poles influenced foreign correspondence and their informational network colored reports coming out of news agencies, such as Rueters. This emphasis counters the accepted views of historians of 19th century Britain who maintain that public opinion emanated in knee-jerk fashion from circumstances and events of the times.
