Summary:Maga Magazinović (1882-1968) was the first professional female journalist in Serbia. She saw Maude Allan perform in Belgrade in 1907; thereafter she studied with Max Reinhardt, Emile Jaques-Dalcroze, and at the Elizabeth Duncan-Schule in Berlin. She founded the first modern dance school in Belgrade, the School of Rhythmics and Plastic Movement (1910-1935), and in 1951 published a book on dance history, Istorija igre.
