| Notes: | It is a comedy of errors and lies constructed with a multiplicity of flashbacks. Diego and Silvia, two young Mexico City dweller, accidentally meet and fall in love based on lies. They discover that love is based on deceit. Silvia is a radio commentator who is in search of a writer to compose a nonexistent news event. He follows the game of deceit aware that both are lying about their present "real" identities, their past relationships, and the chaotic world that surrounds them. The main story line is complemented with a carnivalesque, dizzying, and congested city. The profusion of flashbacks gives a sense of simultaneity of space and time--another lie in the composition of the cinematic text.
