Summary:	Parnaseo is an online gateway to Spanish literature, produced by the University of Valencia, Spain. It provides direct access to the specialized literary e-journals: LEMIR, Stichomythia, Memorabilia, and the bulletin for the chivalric romance, 'Tirant'. In addition there is a section on Spanish theatre (both ancient and modern), offering extensive links to texts, research, colloquiums, and lectures within the field. The user may also access a number of medieval texts from the gateway. The site features announcements for international events, conferences and new publications in Hispanic Studies, to which the user can post his/her own announcements. The gateway contains links to libraries both in Spain (including the Biblioteca Nacional and the CSIC) and elsewhere, to publishers and bookshops, the Spanish press, search engines, and free Spanish online databases (for example, ISBN, TESEO, Compludoc, and Patromonio Bibliográfico Español).
