To all people to whom these presents shall come the commissioners for the county of [blank] in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, send Greeting: Whereas a certain tract of land, being in the township of [blank] and in the county aforesaid, said to be the property now or late of [blank] or as such returned to the Board of Commissioners for said county, was duly rated, charged and assessed with the payment of taxes, by virtue of sundry acts of assembly for levying and raising the following taxes, that is to say, [blank] And whereas no person appeared to pay the taxes aforesaid assessed and charged upon the said land within the time limited by law, the said commissioners, ... did on or about the [blank] day of [blank] last, give public notice in some of the English and German news-papers, and further did set up hand-bills, advertising the same ... calling upon the said [blank] or the owner or owners of the tract aforesaid, to pay the aforesaid taxes due thereon. ...
