Review by Library Journal Review

Love affairs don't get much more destructive than the one between free-spirited Milena (Theresa Russell) and coolly cerebral Alex (Art Garfunkel) in this frank and provocative story of romantic obsession from Nicolas Roeg (Walkabout). Liberally moving back and forth in time to reveal the evolution of a doomed relationship, the oft-misunderstood British director perfects the allusive editing style honed on his ace thriller Don't Look Now. Recommended for adventurous collections. (c) Copyright 2010. Library Journals LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Media Source, Inc. No redistribution permitted.
