Summary: | The exhibit gathered for the first time 58 billboard drafts by pioneer of Brazilian advertising art, Fulvio Pennacchi (B. Italy 1905, immigrated to Brazil). Features his gouaches and watercolor ads ("reclames" ) created from the 1920s to the 1930s when briefly working for some advertising agencies. Pennacchi was one of the most important muralist artists and as a member of the Grupo Santa Helena he was a strong influence in the modernist art movement of Brazil.
