Description
Summary:The understanding of the philosophy upon which Karl Marx's work is based has undergone more fundamental changes in the last 30 years of the 20th century than at any time since the death of Engels. The articles in this collection have been chosen to represent these changes as they have been registered in the learned journals of the Anglophone world. There have been three main loci of change: the relation between Marx's work and that of Engels; the place of ethics in Marx's work; and Marx's relation to the Enlightenment on the one hand and to the Aristotelian tradition in philosophy on the other.
